Allergy and Asthma Curated Genes

Aside from annotating allergy/asthma relevant molecular interaction networks, the AAP curation team has also established a project to annotate which genes have a published role in allergy and/or asthma induced immune responses. To undertake this annotation, curators employ our curation system to associate relevant genes with publications which provide evidence for that gene having a role in allergy and/or asthma immune responses. Along with the link to the relevant publication(s), the curators provide a one or two line summary of the role similar to Entrez GeneRIFs. It should be noted that it is not our intention to comprehensively annotate all the roles of a given gene. You can download all AAP curated genes with their annotations as an Excel sheet.
The current version includes a subset of 800 human or mouse genes.
